Saga-----
Johnny joins the Sonny Tremont Stunt Team to help prepare for his rematch with Flagg Fargo. On death row, "Shocks" Marley walks the last mile; the murderous stuntman's last wish is to wear his old costume. The woman who made it assured him while wearing it, he couldn't die. And, he can't! Electrocuted, he returns as an Apparition. Johnny borrows Pete Catrone's car to return to the garage, only to have the Apparation blast it out from under him! Pete was one of the people who put "Shocks" Marley on death row, and therefore one of the people The Apparition means to kill! When Johnny explains what happened, the team tells him the story of how Shocks sabotaged a car to win Nora, the girl Johnny's falling for. Shocks went to prison and swore revenge. Ghost Rider discovers the Apparation can hurt him, and the Apparition discovers the reverse is also true, and flees. Next, Johnny replaces Sonny Tremont during a stunt, suspecting the Apparation will attack. Surviving that attack, Johnny at first thinks the Apparation will disappear, having killed the two people he'd targeted. Too late, he realizes the Apparition had a third victim in mind - Nora! Seeing Nora dead, Johnny turns the Ghost Rider fully loose on the apparation, who dissolves in the onslaught of hellfire. But there is no victory for Johnny...
