| Magneto returns, and with a collection of his own: a Brotherhood of Evil Mutants to counter the X-Men. With his powers he captures a warship and then Santo Marco, where he seizes power as absolute ruler over its population of mere Homo Sapiens. Of course, the X-Men aren't about to let that stand. In the backup story, from X-Men #44, we meet Bobby Drake before Professor X recruited him into the X-Men, when he learns that using his power is as dangerous as not using it, but in a different way. |
