| From X-Men #5, the X-Men face Magneto and his Brotherhood in the train station, but the evil mutants escape, with Angel their prisoner! While Magneto tortures the young mutant for Professor X's secrets, the X-Men follow Toad, inadvertently left behind, when he uses a magnetic communicator to call for help. They find Magneto's headquarters in an asteroid, and in a pitched battle sent the villains fleeing. Returning to the school, they discover that Professor X never lost his powers - this was their "final exam", a contest without his help, which they passed!
