| Foggy Nelson is still trying to get Karen Page to believe that he is Daredevil in order to impress her. He goes to a costume shop, and tells the designer, Melvin Potter, that he wants the Daredevil costume on display. Potter tells Foggy to come back later, after he's had a chance to resize it. When Foggy comes back, Potter gives him the costume, and agrees to help stage a fight in order to impress Karen.The real Daredevil follows Foggy from his apartment to his date with Karen. Foggy and Karen go to the docks after he tells her that he has some "business" to attend to. Once there, a villain called the Gladiator emerges from the shadows, announcing that he wants to face Daredevil. Foggy sloppily changes into his Daredevil costume, and rushes at Gladiator, who knocks Foggy out with one punch. Karen runs off to get help, and the real Daredevil attacks Gladiator. They fight for a while, and Daredevil finally defeats him, which allows the police to arrest him. Mr. Dunn, the building manager, shows up at Murdock and Nelson Law Office asking about the rent, and has to call the doctor for Karen after she collapses from nervous fatigue. |
