| The Creators worry about Doctor Strange; he is the only mystic of his sphere whose perceptions might allow him to threaten their plans and their Cosmic Wheel of Change. He seeks to reach them but is balked! In Greenwich Village, a mysteious woman, Apalla the Sun Queen, gains entry to Strange's mansion, so she can question Clea as to his whereabouts. In the Quadriverse the Creators lament that Strange is their enemy, when he could have been a valuable addition to their ranks - but they mean to birth a new universe, in which they will control everything, promoting themselves to stars! They send a monster, Visimajoris, to kill Strange but Apalla has found him and slays the demon! She is an existing star who does not wish to be supplanted! The battle seems too easy, and Strange is able to reach their Wheel and destroy it! But that was a mistake! Apalla explains she meant to reverse the wheel and restore the status quo - this is now impossible! Has Doctor Strange handed the Creators their victory? |
