| Jean's mind jumps into Phoenix II after she died, and talks to Death in the afterlife. She learns that the fundamental powers of the universe are scared of her more than anything else, as her choice to accepts the Force‘s offer demostrates mankind unquenchable desire to grow. The group jumps back again and Phoenix is piloting the shuttle back to Earth, being poisoned by radiation. Prosh offers her to change history and not allow the Force to take her place. Jean is uable to decide, as both decisions have major consequences. Prosh tells her she she doesn’t have to choose, he wanted her to thinks the options. They jump back again to right after the original X-Men fought Juggernaut. Phoenix reads Xavier’s computer and learns he always knew of the unlimited potential of her and Iceman. They jump again to a point before the X-Men were formed and Magneto recruits the Toad. |
