| Vision staggers into Avengers headquarters, just in time to collapse. With a major assist from Hank Pym, he awakens to tell a tale of the Avengers disbanding and Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Goliath getting kidnapped by three of the Fantastic Four. The real Cap, Iron Man and Thor are surprised, as they did no such thing. The Avengers hurry to battle, where they are felled by energy beams from cows who turn out to be the Skrulls from "Fantastic Four #2." They fight hard enough to win the battle, but they fail to prevent the departure of a Skrull spacecraft with three Avengers and Captain Marvel on board. | ||
