Fury breaks himself out of his cell, and tries to escape with her help. Meanwhile, Dum Dum and Gabe are leading a resuce effort, using the reverse engineered flight path of the captured Hydra Ram. "The End Of Hydra!" - reprinted from Strange Tales Vol. 1 #140 - Fury and Hydra Agent G break out of captivity and join their rescue team. They subdue Hydra's Tiger squad of trained assassins, while Tony Stark pilots the Brain-o-saur to disarm the Betatron Bomb. They start to celebrate victory, little suspecting that the Imperial Hydra had a contingency plan at the ready "Operation: Brain Blast!" - reprinted from Strange Tales Vol. 1 #141 - Hydra is defeated and cleaned up, with some of their agents accidentally eliminating their own commander. Afterwards, Agent G makes a daring escape with some subtle help from Nick Fury. Things are calming down when Nick learns of a former S.H.I.E.L.D. operative who can read minds, and he realizes how dangerous the man can truly be. |
