Their last confrontation with Dracula having ended in such a strange manner, as the Vampire lord left them in peace, the vampire hunters struggle to find the meaning of that act, and Dracula's relationship with the woman Domini. Though Frank feels they should be out trying to destroy Dracula once and for all, Quincy muses that Domini might have fanned some spark of humanity still surviving in the vampire lord, bringing his long-lost nobility ot the surface. Harold H. Harold, has had a revelaiton. The events that have dominated his life since his first meeting with Dracula have forced him into a life of danger and action that he simply can't take. Turning in his final script to his publisher, he prepares to leave Boston before any of his new friends can talk him out of it. Dracula, in the meantime mourns his dead son. But upon returning to his home, he finds Domini gone. A flash of insight reveals to him that she has gone to the grave of their son to see him reborn. But he fears the consequences of such a rebirth for his son's immortal soul. |
